一片一样矮的土地~Sekeping Serendah

27th - 28th of December 2009, trip with relatives to Sekeping Serendah, Serendah.

We planned to have this trip one month ago and our original destination was Ipoh.

But then, we changed our mind as most of us prefer gathering kind of trip rather than sightseeing trip, so we finally made up our decision to visit Sekeping Serendah.

So called Sekeping Serendah, it is a piece of land from Serendah inside the jungle, which is near to Rawang.

Basically, there are three types of house you can choose to live in, namely Mud House, Wooden House and the most popular one, Glass House.

And we have booked the Glass House, RM450 for one night(worth for money).

Actually, a Glass House only has two king-sized bed and is meant for 4 people staying. The good thing is, you can add on to maximum 6-7 peoples by paying RM50 extra per person.

In the afternoon, fourteen of us departed from Jenjarom.

After one and a half hour, we reached Sekeping Serendah.

A nice and quiet place, and no network coverage for cellphone.

I fell in love with this place immediately. The environment was great and the house was clean and cozy.

And the thing that most of the girls concern about, which is the bathroom is very clean with proper ventilation due to its open-air design. You will feel like you are taking shower in the middle of jungle. aha.

After setting down, we started to prepare our dinner material for BBQ. All the food has to be self-prepared because there's no mamak or restaurant nearby. BBQ facilities is available anyway.

Then, it's swimming pool session, which is one of the highlight of the trip because the swimming pool there is really is extraordinary. Surrounded by jungles, and you will feel like you are so close to nature while you are swimming. And, the depth of the pool was just nice for beginner like me.

Then, we continued with our christmas gift exchange session.

Silent night.

Our theme of the night was Green-Close to Nature.

The gifts, and the moment of gift exchange.

I gifted a CD to Cousin Yao, and got a gift from Cousin Mui. It was a handmade christmas card. very nice =D thanks ya Camy mui.

Then, it's time for some games.

The first game was "Shout out quick", a very intense game.

em. first, we have two peoples facing each other with a blanket in the middle. Then, they will pick a card from a variety of cards with pictures of fruits on it.

Then, when the blanket is removed, they have to shout out the fruit's name as fast as possible, by the language which is decided by the judge . The one who lose will be expelled from his/her team.

Then, the game started.

After few rounds, we lost to SureWin team.

Then, the second game- Mafia Wars.

the one who got the mafia card had to kill the villagers by blinking one of his/her eyes to the victims, and the one who got the police card had to detect the mafia and arrested it.
and the mafia or police who lost have to be punished.

After all, it's late already so we got to bed.

The feeling of sleeping in the Glass House inside the jungle with all the windows opened was PEACEFUL.

Listen to the sound of insects, rivers and jungles, I felt into sleep.

Wake up, wake up. The second morning.

Breakfast time.

American Breakfast, we have bread, ham, hot dog, egg, vegetable and PRAWN ..

Cooking.

Then, its time for some exercise, which was swimming again.

I enjoyed swimming very much here, because finally I learnt how to swim.^^

While we were playing with water, a man brought his daughter to the swimming pool with a Panasonic Lumix waterproof camera.

Then, hehe, we, the photo-shooting lover, lent the camera from them.

We took photo underwater, had so much fun.

and finally, there's 200++ photos in the camera, with only 6 belonged to the owner, can you believe it? haha.

After that, its time to pack and go back.

Back.

The story haven't end yet.

With two food lover, Cousin Pei and Cousin Daniel, we had our lunch at a famous restaurant in Sg.Buloh.
We have盆菜，casserole ..

after that, returned home and had a nice sleep =D

I've enjoyed the trip so much. Overall Sekeping Serendah is a nice place for relaxing and gathering.
