Blue.Red = Johor.Melaka

Few weeks ago, during my mid-sem break (the many homeworks holiday), me and my coursemates have left our mountain of homeworks behind, went on vacation to Johor and Melaka..

Why we went to Johor? hehe .. mainly is to visit Xee's hometown, Pontian and the famous fishing village nearby, Kukup ... By the way, we visited some of the places in Johor Bahru too ... I assume this paragraph as my abstract? hahaha ...

em ... We depart from the bus terminal in Section 17, Shah Alam..
boarded the Eagle Express(without wing), me, Cheng Yee, Edwin, Xian Zhen and Julius started our journey to Johor Bahru.

A long (about 4-5 hours) journey, but the boredom have been chased away by Julius's cool jokes, Edwin's camera, Xian Zheng's sleeping photos, Cheng Yee's and my enhancement to Julius jokes..

Finally, we reached skudai, didn't even realized we had been on the bus for such a long duration..
And ... The most lovely host, Xee with her friends, Peter and Ming Hui were there to pick us up ...

Xee is my coursemate, bus-mate, event-mate and dinner-mate .. she lives in Pontian, Johor, so she is our host for this Johor trip ...
Peter, know him through Xee, joined our outing once, nickname is DongBuDong, our driver and tour guide..
Ming Hui, who is Xee's bff (hahaha =b), heard about him quite a number of times through Xee.. first time to meet him there, our driver and tour guide also ...

After getting into their car, they fetched us to the most popular place in Johor Bahru, which is City Square, a shopping centre la ...
and so .. we had our dinner there, at the mini-restaurant recommended by Ming Hui
I forgot the name already, but the food there is really special, worth to try..

After filling our stomach, they fetched us to have a walk at Danga Bay..
On the way, we chit chat on Peter car .. Peter was trying to 'dig out' his passengers (i.e. me, Cheng Yee and Edwin) love story, but this only works on Edwin .. haha ...

Reached Danga Bay, Xee asked us,
have Peter told you about the XXX place we just passed by?
have Peter show you what is XXX just now on the way?
have Peter mentioned what is the significant of XXX on the road just now?
our answer is "NO" ..
In contrast, Julius and Xian Zhen laughed happily at us because they have a perfect tour guide, Ming Hui who intro those significant places one by one to them ..
Peter, improve and learn from Ming Hui la .. haha ..

So, we reached Danga Bay .. The first impression is the big copy "Sydney Opera House" building and nice lights effect ..
with the nice wind, shining stars, yellowish light background, we had a "romantic 8 peoples" walk at Danga bay ..

After the romantic walk, it was the climax of the night ..
not so romantic "Danga Drift" ..
Yeah, we had rode on the special quadcycle (four ppl bicycle) at Danga Bay ..
What to say? It was really very fun!!!!! haha ... rode the quadcyle with cool wind around the bay, pretended ourselves as China tourists, singing "BeiJing Welcome you" to the by pass walkers, the bicycle chains which were always loose, the drift made by Xian Zhen the good boy..

After the thrilling experience, we explored around the theme park in Danga Bay ..

and this three girls had their singing performance at Danga Square ..

We were all happy and delighted .. just like the lamp on this tree ..

After that, we went back to Pontian, their hometown ..
Ming Hui the very kind one let us to live at his house that night ..
His house is really comfortable and warm-feeling ..
I love the "ktv room" the most, a very nice place to relax and play..
after bathing, they brought us out to lim teh at Pontian and then we had a movie night at the ktv room ...

The second morning, after having our special "Pontian Mee" as breakfast, we started our tour at Pontian-Kukup ..
Firstly, we went to the Rambah Beach ..

Sunshine at the Rambah beach had make us more "energized" ..

Then, we departed to Tanjung Piai National Park, where the southest tip of East Asia Mainland is located.

Then, we went to Kukup to have our seafood lunch .. =D

After kukup, we rushed to Skudai to board our bus to Melaka on 3.15pm .. but sadly, the bus had gone as we reached there 45 minutes later .. so, we have to take another bus to go Melaka..

Johor tour conclusion:
Firstly, we must thanks Evelyn Toh Sin Xee for giving us such a wonderful Johor tour ..
Then, we pay our gratitude to the two handsome Pontian guys :

Peter(red) the not so prefect tour guide and Ming Hui(blue) the prefect and generous host...
We had wonderful experience and memories in Johor, thanks a lot ...

so then, we were on the way to Melaka ..

the two hours just passed so quickly by the talking and take photo session on the bus ..

Reached Melaka Sentral ..
Picked up by Kian Heng (my hometown friend) and Leo (Julius hometown friend) ..
both of them study in MMU, Melaka and coincidentally, they know each other ..

haha, firstly, there was a bit "GanGa" because my coursemates didn't know my hometown friend and I don't know the friends brought by my hometown friend also .. quite complex right? In short, it means we were barely know each other except me and my coursemates and me and my hometown friends .. haiyo, more and more complex as I elaborate ..
hehe, but it was a good chance to bond my friends from different networks together as well ..

So, we know some of the new friends that night .. mostly from Johor ..
Zhe Yu(with nice eyes), Wei Hao(with nice voice), Leo(Julius bff) and CayJiann(the shy shy wan) ..
We had dinner at the Sibaraku, a Japanese Buffet restaurant in the shopping centre ..

Then, we went to the Melaka hottest "GoGo KTV" ..
After that, we had a really late night tour in Melaka ..
about 1am ++ ..

The second morning, they fetched us out to visit some historical and famous place in Melaka ..

and then, Kian Heng, CayJiann and Leo have to go back to school as they have their class on that day ..

Erica the kind girl, skipped her class to entertain us in Melaka .. really thanks a lot ..

she brought us to the biggest bowling centre in Malaysia, "MIBC" ..

and we had our bowling playing session there ..

Then again, we rushed to board our bus at Melaka Sentral which will be departing on 3.15pm ..

but Erica lost her way .. so again .. we missed the bus at 3.15pm again ..
then we boarded another bus to go back to Shah Alam ..

Conclusion of Melaka Tour:

again .. have to thanks my lovely friends first..

thanks for the kindness and the time you spent with us .. appreciate much much ..

and the other friends in Melaka, thanks for entertaining and accompany us ..

oh ya .. special to Erica.. don't blame yourselve for not bringing us back on time.. ^^

Summary :

have to thanks everyone who helped us ..

I had a memorable trip with you all ..

and we cannot buy the bus tickets which depart on 3.15pm ..

Last but not least, credits to my lovely brother, Issac for lending me his semi-pro camera ..
